An oasis near beautiful Coimbra with a lot of family history and attention to detail. Luis and his staff make you feel at home instantly and once you pass through the gate, you are on holiday. We enjoyed every moment in this very special place - we would highly recommend it. While it is not in the center of Coimbra, it is only a short distance away (Euro 5 with Uber and less than 10 minutes) - and we liked being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Luis serves a wonderful breakfast with fruits and vegetables from his communal farm. And when you open that bottle of Rosé by the pool in the afternoon, life is just good.

Exceptionally spacious room in a nice period house, big windows, tasteful decoration, lots of light, central location, easy to find a parking spot on the street. Overall excellent value for money.

Awesome location across the bridge in Santa Clara. A few little restaurants/bars/gelaterias there that are perfect for a quick meal. But also only a quick 5min walk over the bridge to get to downtown Coimbra and all the action over there. Also both hosts we met were lovely and accommodated everything we needed.

I travel in Portugal a lot and this has been hands down one of the cleanest, most beautiful apartments I've ever stayed at. Communication and check-in was super easy. The kitchen was probably better equipped than mine at home ;) Damp can be a problem in Portugal, but it wasn't here... it sounds silly, but everything smelled so good! There's daily, efficient and unobtrusive housekeeping if you like. Regarding the stairs - stairs are in great condition and wide, 500% better than most staircases in the country, but yes, there's no lift for those with mobility issues.

The space had some of the more tasteful esthetics we seen with a nod to the original bones of this beautiful house. We had a beautiful view of the gardens and river from our room and enjoyed the peaceful morning of the sun coming through the tall windows. Breakfast was perfect, you felt right at home in a Portuguese kitchen. Located a block from the royal palace and museums with street parking conveniently located immediately outside the door. Ana was incredibly helpful with recommendations and went the extra mile to make us comfortable and welcome. Would recommend as one of the most romantic and attractive accommodations we've stayed at. Thank you, and wonderful job on this beautiful hotel! Truly dreamy.

Good location, few minutes by car to Coimbra. Nice room with a balcony and a private bathroom. Wonderful host, very helpfull and kind. Good breakfast. Everything is done with love and commitment. We felt very looked after. Recommend with all my heart.
