Friendly, quiet, local neighborhood away from city tourism. House has been beautifully renovated coupled with it’s original historic aspects. Lovely and bright fully equipped shared kitchen with sunny veranda out the door. We made our own fresh ground, fresh brewed espresso in the morning with the simple to use espresso machine provided. Enjoyed visiting with delightful owner and Xasa, who keeps it all sparkling clean, and was so helpful in pointing us to good places to eat and shop very nearby. The internet is lightning fast, the beds very comfortable and the room homey and spacious. Twenty minutes or so walk downhill to ferry across Tagus River to city center. Ferry goes back and forth about every 15-20 min. Lots of good places to eat in the way to the ferry. All around fabulous place if you want to get away from the crowds.Owner was quick to communicate.

Apartment is rahter small, but has everything needed. Wi-fi is good. We stayed for 3 nights, everything was fine. There is a supermarket and lots of restaurants near the apartments. The location is good. It took us about an hour to get from the airport (metro + ferry). The ferry departs often, so it is easy to get to the center of Lisbon. There is a bit abandoned but still nice waterfront nearby with great sunset views. The lady at the receprion is very helpful and friendly. We'd stay here during the next visit to Lisbon.

Absolutely incredible stay with Edgar & Simão! The apartment exceeded all expectation, wonderful location which made you feel like a local - perfectly peaceful in the evenings but bustling bars and restaurants a short walk away. The hosts went above and beyond for us as guests with a handy guidebook upon arrival and were always happy to help with any questions or concerns. I hope I get to visit again and stay in this lovely place!

The location was a perfect fit for out needs. Aroeira being the seaside area with a depth of great rest and dining options, but also 30 minutes drive from Lisbon which makes excellent resting/sightseeing combination. House is very cool with fantastic pool and greenery to have a proper fun/rest. Excellent for families with two kids.
