Dar Sitti Aziza is a beautiful place to stay right next to the Church of the Nativity off Manger Square in Bethlehem. Nabil, the owner goes out of his way to make sure your stay in Bethlehem is memorable and you leave with a deep understanding of the local people. On arrival, we were given a choice of rooms and a tour of the house. The rooms are beautiful with comfortable beds and tea-making facilities and local soaps and creams offered in the bathrooms. We were served coffee on the terrace which offers a fantastic view of the Church of the Nativity. A big breakfast was served here every morning, as we were lucky with the weather. Breakfast consisted of local products and breads, delicious eggs cooked to a family recipe served with fresh orange juice and coffee. Throughout our stay, Nabil went above and beyond to accommodate us. He brought us to the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in Beit Sahour and for some delicious falafel and kanafeh from local restaurants. He was always ready to offer recommendations. We could not recommend Dar Sitti Aziza enough if you are looking at some place to stay in Bethlehem. It is two mins walk to the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. The breakfast will keep you going well in to the afternoon and the hospitality offered here is unlike anywhere I have stayed throughout the world.

La ubicación a no mucha distancia de la basílica de la Anunciación. La limpieza de la habitación, colchones cómodos. Había una sala de estar en la que había té y café galletas las 24 horas del día. podías usar cuánto quisieras. La amabilidad del dueño que puso todo a nuestra disposición y nos dio información valiosísima de como movernos por Belén, sobre como ir a Hebrón de forma barata y segura. En definitiva, si vuelvo a Belén, volveré aquí sin duda

I spent one night with my husband. Exceptional attention. Big bedroom and good breakfast. The owner was lovely, he even drove us in his car to the bus station because it was raining a lot. If we come back to Bethlehem, we'll stay here again.

Irene and her husband created a warm-hearted and authentic place just beneath the Nativity church in the heart of Bethlehem. You will live in an 200 years old house in a newly reconstructed room which gives you the intense feeling of having changed time (although enjoying the amenities of modern times). Everything is made individually: From the warm welcome, to the room and the served breakfast (the bread comes from a little bakery beneath). On top the owners will tell you about all necessary sites of the city but - more important - about daily life (and traditions) of (Christian) Palestinians and their families. Learned a lot! The place is highly recommended and is truly a "hidden champion" in Bethlehem for everybody who likes to experience Bethlehem the authentic way!

I was here two nights. Room was spacious and light and big balcony with an incredible view! Make sure you ask for a room facing the south east. Sunrise view. Exceptional help from the owner. Gave me great instructions on how to get from Jerusalem to Bethlehem and to the hotel. Kind and helpful staff. Free tea coffee water. Great shower Good location to walk to the churches. Some up and downhills, but still only ten mins walk. Safe and secure place. It went far above my expectations, so thank you very much.

Hermosa estadía en Talitha Kumi!! No se encuentra en Belén propiamente dicha, sino en una localidad cercana llamada Beit Jala, a 10/15 min de auto. La casa de huéspedes pertenece a la Escuela Evangelista Luterana Alemana. El predio es enorme con varias instalaciones. No pudimos ver a los estudiantes porque ya se encontraban de vacaciones. Las habitaciones sencillas, pero con todo lo necesario. Nuestro grupo (5 personas) era la única estadía en ese momento. Nos permitieron el uso del comedor, los enseres y la TV. Nos dieron la llave de la heladera de las bebidas, las cuales registramos en una hoja de papel para luego ser abonadas. El desayuno espectacular: de todo!!!!! El Manager, Sr Farid Abu Dayyeh; la Sra Alaf Hanania y el Sr que hablaba español (lamentablemente no recuerdo su nombre) fueron adorables con nosotros. Nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos y bienvenidos y nos ofrecieron su ayuda en todo momento. Sin dudas, muy recomendable!! :-)
