The hotel owner, Luz, and her mom, Juanita, were so personable and warm. They really helped me and my friend order food, drive us, and also made me tea and soup when I was feeling sick! It felt like I was being taken care of like family and I am so grateful to have met them.

The amaxing ambiance, patio, dining room and tv room. Many places to hang out and meet other people. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are cleaned every day, the beds made up. I slept in 3 rooms, love the rooms with the normal beds ans lots of space. Although I slept very well in the bunkbed dorm too. It is a quiet hostel, not to big. It felt to me like a family as everyone shows up in the dining room, having breakfast together. And the quality of the food is amazing, fresh prepared, every day different and always this finishing touch like being in a restaurant. A very good start of the day this fulfilling breakfast. The owners are so nice too. They cooked for us on mole night, pizza night. I felt so taken cared for. I might be spoiled now.....

Ricardo and his parents are very hospitable, thanks to them! I was allowed to arrive earlier. The apartments are clean, cozy, everything is done very conveniently. The location is very good, you can quickly walk to the center. Next time I will definitely stay here.

Lovely owner, great sized rooms, warm water. Not too far from the center and a lovely area. Comfy beds, nice little social area. Great fast laundry service. Owner was even kind enough to organise us a taxi to the airport.

Very friendly host who could speak english. Comfortable bed. We got towels! Nice location near the center. Hot water in the shower. So far our best stay! Nice rooftop terrace and a cute cat!

This place was AMAZING value! Our room was really clean and comfortable, great bed and smart TV to relax in the evenings. We also had a chest of drawers and multiple areas to hang our clothes and coats. There is also a big mirror and space for your suitcase. The Hostal has a lovely rooftop, free tea and coffee, snacks and Mezcal. They helpfully have filtered water stations all over the place where you can fill your big bottle for 10 pesos. All of the staff were super helpful with organising trips and taxis, and this is probably one of the cleanest Hostal’s I’ve stayed in. We had a shared bathroom and it was always sparkling. I loved the location as it was close to (easy walking distance, 10 mins) but outside of the busy touristy bit. I recommend walking to the closer Barrio de Jatatlaco, a quieter but beautiful area with coffee shops and great restaurants.
