Keisuke and Marino are incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts/owners. You can feel the love and care they've poured into Murabito Guesthouse with everything ranging from the bunk beds, bilingual guide books and map of Yamanakako they've made themselves, to all the photos showing their past travels on display in the shared living space. Murabito is conveniently located to many amenities whether they be bus stops used by local buses or ones going towards Tokyo and Shizuoka. Or local eateries and grocery stores. It's a little gesture but being welcomed back after returning from a day of travel was a very refreshing thing and added to the experience. Will definitely be back in the future.

The hostess honestly made the stay fantastic. Her attitude was so welcoming, she explained the facilities in simple Japanese for us, and gave us recommendations not only for the town, but for the Fuji area as well. I've stayed in a few ryokans before, but this was the best experience by far. We also had the Fuji-view room, which I recommend getting! We went in the late fall for viewing leaves in town, so it got quite chilly at night, but the room stayed toasty. I slept so well. The bath was also spacious, good amenities, and just the right amount of time to stay in.

warm, quite and clean house. Really close to the Hirano bus station, host is very friendly and nice to the guest. They also provide delicious breakfast, and if you’re a cat lover u must love this place, here are two cuteee cats！

Easy check in/out process, high quality of vegetables, smooth bath water, comfortable beds and adequate space heaters. The outside view from our room was amazing. Everything was good and just right. We look forward to visiting again. I will recommend Jamoo to family and friends as well.

La señora que gestiona la pensión es un encanto: nos ofreció té y postre de bienvenida, y el último día nos llevó a la estación en su coche. La habitación que nos tocó era muy grande (por los estándares japoneses) y con vista al Fuji.
