The owner was a very nice person. The house is 20-25 minutes walking distance from everywhere to see. There are supermarkets right near the house. The room is very comfortable, the living room is very pleasant. There is everything you may need in the kitchen. Everywhere in the house is spotlessly clean. We loved both the house and the owner very much. Thank you for everything. Hope to see you again

An absolute gem hidden a bus way from Hirayu Onsen. There is an outdoor onsen and two private onsens on-site. The owners put on a delicious breakfast and were kind enough to cater for my vegetarian diet. We even got a room upgrade. Thank you for your hospitality. Bus stop is a 4 minute walk away. A second bus stop is a 20 minute walk down the hill. A small village with a shop and a couple of restaurants are 30 minute walk.

The house may be situated on a steep hill, but it is in a central location to all Takayama has to offer. I loved the CD collection and there was a hot shower.
