The owner is very helpful and friendly. They gave us the warm welcome when we reach. The lady boss is very considerate and she even upgraded the room for my family. She also introduced the sightseeing spot to us and recommended us the restaurant when we arrived at the apartment. The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. The location of the apartment is very strategic. You can reach the town with walking distance.

Charming! Such a unique and cozy place to stay. An easy walk from the train station and a short walk to the canal, museum, and tourist shops. The owner was lovely and friendly and helped us make last minute skiing plans. The food from the restaurant downstairs was delicious. Our family of five loved it.

Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing! Welcoming and kind and helped me with everything I needed. Even more than that, the guesthouse owner suggested to take me to a place I wanted to go in their car without asking for anything in return. They showed me the beautiful places of Otaru and because of them I had an amazing experience! :D I definitely recommend Wa No Kaze for everyone who comes to Otaru and Hokkaido! Bonus: the main tourist attractions are 15 minutes walk from the guesthouse!

The location was very good, you could get everywhere pretty much in couple of minutes, there is also beautiful catholic church nearby for those they are catholics. Spa is just 300yen each and the receptionist was the most nice, kind, friendly, smiling and cute we ever experienced. There is also a two guitar in the share living room, can make it nice evening too.
