It was perfect, I wish we stayed for longer. The location was perfect super close to the port and everything else. It was spacious and had every amenity needed!

What a delight! This was such a surprise. It’s very spacious and has the best water pressure I have ever experienced in my life. I hope that I will stay again for several nights when I return. It’s a great location and wonderful value especially if you can book a weekend. The home was spotless and the owner let us store luggage at his home after checkout so we could explore the island. Can’t recommend this enough. There is a great okonomiyaki restaurant next door and an Italian eatery down the street for dinner. Remember to bring cash because that’s what the owner requires up front for your stay.

Loved this spot. It’s very modern and clean, perfectly located…and such a deal! I could not get into Benesse house but this was a happy accidents - it’s was cooler in person- down a cozy back street, the entire entrace is shu sugi ban blackened cedar, very clean- they just leave the key by your door- restaurants are a block away but it’s super quiet…and you’re 1-2 minutes from the port…if you arrive early just dump your gear in a locker at Miyanoura port ( 300-500 depending on size- coins only self service). Hi marks!

The owner was incredibly helpful, which was super useful since we travelled with two young kids. The house is nicely located in the charming Honmura village and close to a bus stop. And it's much bigger than presented on Booking, around 35m2 I would say (14m2 is only the tatami bedroom).

The house is beautiful, located in a very picturesque and quiet coastal town. We slept like babies in the traditional futon room. We absolutely loved our stay on the island.

We only spent one night here but wish we had more time in this place. We arrived earlier than check in time and Johnny the owner was kind enough to let us store our luggage, and help us book restaurants in advance and plan our visit. Room is big and spacious, as it used to be a hostel, we got the entire room for ourselves, the heated carped was so nice and cozy, this place feels like home. Only 6 minute walk from open houses and the port.
