How often do you get to stay at a house whose origins date to the 1200's? For us, that was certainly a unique experience. We had the whole house to ourselves and enjoyed our time so much that we extended our stay by another 5 days. The host is very kind, hospitable, and really goes out of her way to take care of her guests. For example, the host called the internet provider and upgraded the existing service to faster internet speed for the duration of our stay to accommodate my need for fast internet for work. We felt sincerely cared for attended to. The host also arranged for reservations and discount tickets when we visited the nearby caves! The house is located in a quiet location, surrounded by nature. We enjoyed hiking in the Maritime Alps and La Langhe. There is certainly a lot to do and see. We'd highly recommend this place!

The hotel is the Villa of General Durando. It is a unique experience to stay there and enjoy the fabulous breakfast in the living room. The house has also a nice swimming pool outside. Very useful if you arrive there after some hours of motorcycle riding. The place is absolutely safe for motoriders. Next year we will spend more days there. Pay a visit to Mondovi. It woths it

We had an exceptional time. Leandro is a great host. He is a wonderful Chef, who prepares a great breakfast with surprise Piemont specialties and very tasty omelette. The room was brand-new and spacious with view of the mountains.

We were met like we had been old friends whom the hosts were waiting for a long time. The room, the location, the hospitality were above expectations. We were staying at this wonderful hotel for the second time and are planning to stay there again soon - on the way back from our trip to Italy.
