We love the little town of Meta, everyone was warm and welcoming. Mariafortuna was extremely responsive and warm and made our stay pleasant. There were many like minded travellers we got to meet too. The room was spacious and clean. Nothing more to ask for and thank you for the lovely experience!

Chris and Angela are amazing. They had great tips for us. The place is very nice and clean. 2 great restaurants in a walking distance. (Although the walk is a little challenging) We also took a train to Sorrento, which was very easy.

The place is awesome. It’s very clean and very well located. You’re only 10 min walking from the train station and from the port of Piano do Sorrento, where daily boat tours from Lasercapri leaves to Capri, Positano and Amalfi for a reasonable price (you definitely don’t need a car if you’re staying at La Pennichella). Since the place is also a short walk (10 min) from the Meta beach, we enjoyed our evenings there and had dinner in restaurants around). We also loved the terrace. It has a great view of the beach and the sunset from there is just beautiful. Since our arrival until our check out, Carlo was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent host, very helpful and friendly. Room spotless, equipped in necessary facilities. Very handy location, 8 min walk to the train station and 10 min to the beach. There is an option to park the car right next to the apartment. In general excellent stay:)

Amazing room, wonderfully decorated and comfy, clean, all new and very nice, the location was good enough the train took us to sorrento center in 6 minutes. Lovely, private place completely to ourselves - no loud neighbours or sounds

We were initially looking to stay in Sorrento and were in two minds about booking Palazzo Cacace Relais. Having stayed here, we can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It is simply amazing on so many levels. 1. Location - very close to Meta station which is just 3 quick stops away from Sorrento but away from the crowd. 2. Rooms - the entire palazzo was done up by the owner Rosi who is also an interior designer. It was tastefully done with so much attention to detail and a joy to experience. Our room was also spacious and extremely comfortable. There is also a lovely garden to add to the beauty of the palace. 3. Food - Meta itself is worth exploring with some great seafood restaurants. However, the highlight is the breakfast provided. It was a delight waking up to a delicious spread of fresh local breakfast items and the experience was elevated with Enzo taking us through each item every morning. Some of the breakfast items were home made and added on to an authentic Italian experience. 4. Staff - Best for the last…. Enzo is a gem of a person with a zest for life and that itself made our stay so much better than it already was. He genuinely cares for everyone saying here and did not think twice about going above and beyond to offer any help we needed. This gave us a huge sense of belonging. We had come for our honeymoon and he made sure we had a special time. From restaurant suggestions to helping us plan our travel routes, he was always just a text away. Both Rosi and Enzo were such warm hosts, always making us feel at home. So much so that we left with a heavy heart. We really look forward to coming back to Palazzo Cacace Relais!

The place is very spacious. I liked how there was a kitchen. It was conveniently located close to the Meta train station, although there’s no sidewalk on the main road, which made it a little dangerous walking on there with our luggage. The views from the property are amazing. It was a little rainy during our stay there, so we didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop, however it looked nice. The owners were very responsive.
