The owner was exceptional, he explained the surroundings and the facilities with pride. He even left us some goodies for our stay. The room is small, yet newly renovated and comfortable. Quiet surroundings, enjoyed the balcony.

Amazing location, and beautiful interior. Roberto was a fantastic host, even going so far as to accommodate my late arrival with some food waiting for when I arrived. He was also extremely flexible in my departure time and communicated promptly. Overall this was a great place to stay and great experience as a solo traveller.

the location is amazing with a great terrace and views. the room was clean and spacious. maurizio was very kind and helpful. there was some coffee/tea and biscuits left for us. the room had a fridge and kettle. no cutlery.

This was one of the most memorable places we stayed on our trip and - to my recollection - one of the most memorable places I've ever stayed! Alla Porta Rossa is incredible close to the Manarola train station and our host Barbara provided excellent directions (including a video!) of exactly how to get to the apartment. (She was also regularly in contact and super helpful, even going so far as to offer free laundry services while the washing machine was being replaced.) Though the bathroom is certainly petite, the room was spacious enough with plenty of thoughtful kitchen amenities, but let's be honest -- we booked the suite for the ample terrace with the view and it did not disappoint!! On any given night we were able to see the sun setting over the hills and the moon rising behind us and it was absolutely magical. As added bonuses, the apartments are so close to grocery shops, restaurants, and the town's famous viewpoint... we loved our stay and would highly recommend! Thank you!

Maria was an amazing hostess. The room, living area and bathroom were spotless clean. The small table outside to start the morning with Manarola view did it for me! Having the drying line was perfect to dry swim suits. We loved it

the rooms are very clean and exactly like the pictures on the website. host was very friendly and responsive when I texted about a change in our arrival time. they were also very flexible to let us keep the room for an extra hour when we wanted to quickly take a morning dip and use the shower after. we also got a cute gift because sth very small was not fixed in the room (sth negligible). def recommend to anyone who wants to stay there
