Nazzareno, our host, and his family were generous and welcoming. We interrupted their family Sunday by the pool but they quickly accommodated us and shared the pool - and a fabulous aperitivo! A lovely, historic property within an easy walk of good restaurants in Campello. The rooms were spacious, atmospheric and decorated with historic family wares. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Highly recommmended.

Exceptional. Everything that makes Italy so worth travelling. Hotel and restaurant, separated by about 50-75m, are family owned. Marco, the proprietor, could not be kinder and more welcoming. Accommodations are absolutely classic. Basic but large space, tile and wood, antique, impeccably clean. The restaurant on the main plaza were my best meals in Umbria, and 30-40% less than Assisi. Next time, with a car, I would base myself here, off the peak tourist trail, but with easy access to everything. A stunningly beautiful small hilltop town, with great walks. Look forward to my return 🙏🏼

Best hosts in town. The owner did not only provide valuable directions but also supported us pilgrims in any way possible, including fixing our shoe. The room was beautiful and the location in the town center is just perfect.

We had a whole small apartment at our disposal. The host, Ortenzia, and her son were kind, the house is clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. We came with dogs, and they had a great time too.
