Pensione Hecherhof was a great stay! It was a beautiful home in the midst of an apple orchard just 5 minutes by car from Merano. It was modern, clean and comfortable. The self serve breakfast was outstanding with various breakfast items, an espresso/cappuccino machine, and outdoor patio seating as well as an indoor dining room. The balcony with table and chairs overlooking the orchard and mountains was a bonus! The pool area was surrounded by well kept lawn and gardens, beautiful! There is free parking at the front entrance for easy access. Our hostess was gracious and helpful. Would stay again!

Good breakfast, nice location, though our room had no view. We enjoyed the pool after a hike. Nice, renovated bathroom. The owners are friendly, however, it seems they are struggling keeping up the place.
