The place was in a remote location, easy to get to from the main road. It was perfect because we had no light pollution around us and we saw the northern lights very easily. No need to drive to another location. The room was very clean and tidy, we enjoyed everything about it. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the old school house! Greg and Magnea are very kind and welcoming. This booking is not just a place to sleep but an experience that I would recommend 10/10! The rooms are incredibly cozy and quiet with comfortable beds, the communal areas are super clean and the location is just very special. The surroundings are stunning, you can watch the stars at night from the hottub outside and if you’re there at the right time - catch aurora! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Several bathrooms/shower rooms sufficient for a full house. Big outdoor terrace with good view of the surrounding nature. Very convenient to Selfoss for shopping, resturants. Very friendly, family run Inn. Very helpfull with information, advice on hiking trails, etc. Will definately return for a longer stay. Convenient location for visiting South west and South coast.
