The rooms were comfy and cozy. The kitchen/common area totally exceeded our expectations - we didn’t realize this space was part of the property at all, so that was a welcome surprise. The location was amazing, we were able to see the northern lights from right behind the building, and it was in close proximity to other beautiful sights.

I love the room I stayed (#6), big space for 2 persons and good view from the window. This house is always warm and cozy. I just booked this place couple days since plan is changed. They did not mention breakfast, which really surprise me that staff cooking breakfast for guests.

It's clean and comfortable with spaces to relax, cook and eat. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and private. The restaurant across the street where you check in is so cute and food is delicious. I felled into a frozen stream and lost my car key, I arrived at the hostel without my car and was frozen, they welcomed me with open arms straight to the shower to warm up and dry off, the owner of the place made sure we got a spare car key from Reykjavík so that the next morning we continued to travel with our car and warm in our hearts, the restaurant was very tasty and the place was very friendly Homey and good.
