We were shown around the stables and were able to stroke the horses and find out more about icelandic farming. There is also an added bonus of the neediest cat ever to stroke and a very playful dog! Room was spacious and very clean, shared bathroom as well. A lot of information about local history and display of some artefacts. You could tell that the owners have put their heart into it. Guesthouse offers a laundry service for a small charge which was very helpful. Very good breakfast.

As it is part of a farmhouse (the hosts live upstairs and the guests stay downstairs) there are only three rooms to rent. This means you have a lot of privacy, peace and quiet. However, due to its size, the accommodation is very basic in terms of kitchen facilities - there is no oven or microwave (you have to eat cold dinners and breakfasts).
