Breakfast each morning filled me up for the day, and I really appreciated the ample hot beverage supplies available in the kitchen when I returned from hiking around the island. I was the only guest during my stay, it was a very peaceful trip.

The house is perfectly located to visit the bird colonies of the island, and it makes a perfect basecamp for photographers. The hosts, Gagga and Áslaug, are very welcoming and helpful, making the stay even more special. Very clean house, big shared fully-equipped kitchen and really nice breakfast to start the day with! Another big plus is the views from the house! 100% recommended!

She was very kind. I got my leg cut and she provided all the help to heal me. As I was not able to walk properly, she drove to the main spots of the Grímsey and explained me a lot about the island. She even prepared and awesome breakfast the next day. I was very lucky staying at her place. The guesthouse itself is really nice, amazing view and very comfortable.Samuel CasásSolo traveler
