The house is right outside the town of Egilsstadir, very easy to find. We were met by a very friendly owner and his two lovely dogs. He was extremely helpful and the house was truly a gem! Decorated with old-style furniture, but very cosy, clean and it has a hot tub outside with an amazing view! We wish we could have stayed longer and can definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to spend time at East Iceland!

Would definitely stay here again. The room had its own private bathroom which had us crazy after staying a couple of nights in other guesthouses with shared bathroom. The size of the room was big enough for 2 people and 4 pieces of luggage and the beds were really comfy. One of my favorite accommodations of my trip.

Super friendly staff who were very helpful! Room was comfortable with comfy beds. Shared restrooms clean and nice shower stalls. Good location in town. Shared kitchen fully outfitted.

The location is beautiful, in front of lake. And bathroom is quite clean. Kitchen is clean too.

Small, but very comfortable and clean. We were happy to find this little gem to stay only one night when we were stranded in the area due to severe storm recently. It would be nice to stay longer to explore around.
