Bilal was an amazing host. He was always asking if I need anything, and happy to help. I really felt included and a part of the family. He checked in when I was out late with friends to make sure I was safe. The room itself was incredibly clean, the bathroom was nice with reliable hot water heater for the shower. The location is within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops, close to city centre. The food they serve is amazing home cooked Kashmiri / Indian food. Coffee/tea/kava and biscuits are also available upon request. All this is optional of course, but I would say it is worth it, the food is for a very good price. Overall, it was an excellent stay. I only booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 5! Would highly recommend this place, and I will absolutely stay here again when I come back to Srinagar.

It was a nice touch to be able to enjoy a warm beverage at any time during my stay. Overall, my experience at Bashwa Guest House was exceptional. From the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the warm hospitality of the host, everything exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Srinagar.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Stay was amazing, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. It felt like staying with a family rather then the typical hotel. Accomodation was very neat and clean . Also it was quite peaceful. Realy recommend this place for those who wants there Kasmir trip memorable.
