The place is situated in a lovely private garden. We really loved the guided trekking with our host through rice fields, some of the scenery is just breathtaking, we loved the views even more than in Tegallalang rice fields. We got to learn a lot about local life and customs as well. Cooking lesson was fun so thank you for that. Sideman has still this pristine village feel with beautiful nature around. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Kamong the owner was great, very friendly and helpful, vera layed back. And the staff as well so friendly. The room was great, no AC needed, moskitonet was there. It‘s good located and quiet. They organized a scooter for me.

I just had a wonderful stay here during my time in Sideman! Nyoman, Komang, and Ketut took great care to make sure my every need was met. The King Room was very spacious and clean with a large balcony and the best view of Mt. Agung. They all speak great English, so communication was easy. Komang was always available for a quick ride to the bank or my amazing massage at Canting Spa or a spontaneous waterfall tour. He was even open to exploring a new waterfall he'd never been to called Aan Secret Waterfall that turned out to be a spectacular adventure! He also connected me with his nephew Wayan for a full day tour of the area by motorbike that was a blast. I toured the local rice terraces with Nyoman on a different day, and we ended up having dinner with his farmer friends who live in the middle of the fields. My four days in Sideman were as true to a local Indonesian experience as it gets thanks to the wonderful staff at Amrita, and I will for sure return to see all of my new friends! I wish I would've booked here longer....

I booked based on the great reviews and I was not disappointed! A beautiful, spacious, super clean room. Nice furnishings and practical details like bedside lamp, outlets and mosquito net. (though I never had to use the net) The bathroom is large, shower is excellent with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The terrace with a lounge bed, table and chairs overlooks the small garden, surrounding hills and Mt. Agung. A perfect spot to relax, watch birds, the occasional torrential downpours and listen to the chorus of frogs at night. Breakfast was served on the terrace and was tasty and generous. The warung was not open to the public during my stay but they were happy to cook meals for their guests. I tried several warungs around Sideman but in the end I found their meals at Maha Neka very tasty and good value. Sideman is a beautiful, peaceful place. there is a lot to explore in the region either on foot or by scooter. The hosts are lovely, always there if needed, and happy to help.

Dream location ✨️ Big room and shower overlooking the rice paddies, don't forget to go down to the river for a dip and have the best massage in Bali under a gazebo away from it all. Thanks to the wonderful staff for the assistance during our scooter accident. Our front tire was flat, and we bailed on turn. The staff all came to our rescue. Suksema!

We want to start by praising the graciousness and generosity of our hosts. In particular, Made along with Kedek cooked and brought us a good breakfast on our deck overlooking one of the most beautiful rice field views in Bali. Made also made us two delicious dinners. Koming, part of the extended family, is an excellent driver and tour guide. They all took good care of us in many ways. Bukit Luah is in a tiny rural village in Sidemen. We were surrounded by workers in the fields, women carrying offerings to the temple on their heads, and generally a side of Bali you don't experience in Kuta or Ubud. Much appreciated amenities: unlimited clean drinking water, good shower, comfortable bed, efficient, quiet air conditioning. And all for a very reasonable price.

The view here is worth it alone. One of the most amazing locations we have ever stayed in. It felt like a dream. The staff here are all so friendly and kind. The food was also very good. The breakfast by the pool was a nice touch.
