An absolutely marvelous place to stay and use as a base from which to explore one of the most beautiful mountainous areas of Greece, whether you want to hike or just enjoy nature/architecture and good food. We really enjoyed the security provided by the accommodation and the location itself, the beautiful aesthetics of the room, balcony and yard, and the excellent information provided by our host. This is one of the cases where the pictures actually do the place justice. Although our room was not equipped with a kitchen/kitchenette, there was some equipment to prepare breakfast, which was greatly appreciated. Dimitris was also very kind and understanding when we inadvertently broke a small piece of equipment. Actually, everyone we met was super-nice and laid back. And finally, the village provided ALL of necessary amenities, while still being close to other villages and locations to explore.

Loved the little village. walked down the numerous flights of stairs to the community Taverna and had a lovely dinner.

We got very late (at 00:30) and the staff left for us keys and were available at any time. Beautiful place, very nice staff and the breakfast was very good. The Hotel is on Menalon trail. (Strains straight to menalon trail). Plenty parking place

This is a beautiful property with fantastic views and very comfortable accommodation. Nena looked after us very well and was a great source of hints and tips. Breakfast was delicious as was the packed lunch that Nena prepared for us. We would highly recommend this guesthouse

Stemnitsa was by far our favourite place of our 20 day trip. Tsarbou guesthouse welcomed us and treated us like familly. Christina, the owner of the business is pure gold. The room and it’s vibe is just fantastic, especially for us who don’t really enjoy the heat during the summer months. I have only good thing to say about the business, the facilities, the breakfast and our overall experience. We’ll be back soon!
