We stayed at the Three Horseshoes over New Year. It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

Really enjoyed our stay here staff were very friendly and welcoming we met the owners and their pets which was a nice bonus surprise and whilst we didn't spend much time in the room itself because we were out exploring the area everything was absolutely spotless and the bed was really comfortable best nights sleep ive had in a long time also thankfully everything we came to see was around a 5 minute drive from the property which was perfect after the 3 hour drive to get there!!

We had the loveliest time staying at The Trout. It was everything we wanted in a countryside escape and more - the pub had excellent food and great beers, the historical building and surrounding area were gorgeous, the room was cosy and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. What really made our stay here extra special though was the generosity and warmth of the management. The team here truly understands hospitality and will make you feel not just welcome, but at home.
