This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

Excellent accommodation, smart, clean and great hosts/staff. Very central and accessible from the train station too, although it has its own private parking - a real plus. Very good breakfast, with probably the best bacon rolls (amongst many other options) that we've ever had! We will return for sure. Fully recommended.

It’s was centrally located between Bowness and Windermere, 10 minute walk to either location. The room was very comfortable, nice bed, shower had great water pressure, nice views from the room. The hosts were very helpful, had all kinds of information on where to go in the area. Loved our stay! Oh and a the breakfasts were always wonderful!

The hosts, Denis and Anita made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. Excellent breakfast, lovely room with a great view, loads of beneficial guidance and tips from Anita. Tip: Remember this place offers an authentic Caribbean breakfast option. (We did not select it, but Denis was kind enough to give us a sample anyway!). - A great find.

The friendly and helpful attitude of Jo, the owner. When I told her I lost my UK/European adapter for my USA phone charger, she found one and gave it to me to keep. The design and consistent water flow of the shower. The soft gray floor covering in the bathroom . I found out later that Alan, Jo’s partner, designed and built most of the non-structural interior of the property. Quite impressive in its design.
