Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms.

This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness.

Location excellent, beautiful house, comfortable bed and super pillows. Amazing quality breakfast. Great friendly, highly efficient staff. Would definitely return. Many thanks to the staff and owner.

Offering quiet street views, DUNVEGAN is an accommodation located in Windermere, 1.7 km from World of Beatrix Potter and 37 km from Derwentwater.

Evelyn was a lovely host and made a delicious breakfast. The rooms offer everything you need, bed, coffee and tea making facilities in the room, ensuite bathroom, TV and they're pet friendly at an affordable price. The room and bathroom were very clean and serviced daily.

Can’t rate this highly enough. Lovely room, very friendly host. Plenty of advice about where to eat and visit. Would definitely stay again

Less than 20 minutes’ walk from Bowness Bay, Denehurst Guest House is a traditional Lakeland stone house built in 1898.

It’s was centrally located between Bowness and Windermere, 10 minute walk to either location. The room was very comfortable, nice bed, shower had great water pressure, nice views from the room. The hosts were very helpful, had all kinds of information on where to go in the area. Loved our stay! Oh and a the breakfasts were always wonderful!

Ideally located in Windermere, Archway Guest House is in the heart of the Lake District National Park.

The hosts, Denis and Anita made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. Excellent breakfast, lovely room with a great view, loads of beneficial guidance and tips from Anita. Tip: Remember this place offers an authentic Caribbean breakfast option. (We did not select it, but Denis was kind enough to give us a sample anyway!). - A great find.

Host is wonderful. Really appreciated black out curtains in room as sunrise very early at 55 north latitude

Dating back to 1854, the award-winning Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club is quietly situated in the center of Windermere.

Fantastic location. Lovely rooms and great breakfast. Use of the spa was also a great bonus. Great value for money.
