We had a very lovely one night stay at Strathwhillan House - the host was friendly, room was cosy and clean, very close to the ferry terminal. Amazing breakfast! Would definitely recommend to others.. Very good and affordable place to stay when you are about to explore Arran :)

Home made bread, home made oatcakes, home made biscuits, milk, orange juice, fresh fruit, breakfast cereal, yoghurt, cheese, prosciutto, home made jam etc. Everything was of the highest quality including the furnishings, decor and bedding and one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. They are knowlegeable about the island and happy to share helpful tips for activities. The house and setting are gorgeous, the rooms are luxurious and the breakfast is excellent.
