The room was bright and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, when we asked about dining out or finding a laundromat. The full English breakfast was piping hot and delicious . There was also cereal and fruit on the side and lots of hot coffee, tea or cold beverages. We sat in the breakfast room and watched the boats go by. we also enjoyed the pub right downstairs for food and drinks.

Such a cosy welcoming place! We stayed in room 3 and were surprised by the little secret garden we had! Jane you are so welcoming and helpful. We had a generous selection of tea and coffee plus breakfast supplies which were a pleasant surprise. We had a fabulous stay thank you

On arrival, we were shown our room and asked what time we would like our breakfast, we was given a booklet of Whitby which had a map of the town. Marty explained how we could get into town if walking, bus or driving. Places in and around town we could visit. We were able to park onsite for free. The room was large and with en- suite shower, immaculately clean, modern and comfortable, well furnished and decorated. It has a TV, table and chairs, mini fridge stocked with milk and a couple of bottles of water. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and a packet of biscuits, kettle, 2 x cups and 2 x glasses, hairdryer, towels, small soap, mini shampoo and conditioner. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room at a prearranged time of our choosing. They give a little knock so not to disturb us and it is left outside the room. Breakfast comes on a nice white tray on separate legs. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and each day Is slightly different. You get a good variety and plenty of food. The property isn't far from whitby town. A bit of a steep hill when walking back, however there is a bus stop directly outside the property or you can get a taxi. If walking it doesn't take long, about 20 minutes. From the time we arrived to the time we left our hosts Marty and Jo were exceptional, approachable and friendly We definitely will stay again if in the area.

Host was amazing and super friendly, very informative, nothing was a problem. The townhouse was within easy walking distance to town, and with the added bonus of free parking we did not need to move the car once arrived. The room was enormous with a great outlook I would definitely stay here again.

I liked the porch door. I liked the teabags that were left outside so people didn't run out.

Martyn & Paula are fab, friendly welcome into their home. Good breakfast choice, practically any variation you could think, as long as it's listed on the menu!! There's also extra little things like more tea and coffe, wine glasses if you need them. Happy to recommend, and probably will stay again
