Breakfast is ordered the day before, and you can choose what you want to make up your own individual breakfast, all cooked fresh for your chosen time. There is also a small bar area for drinks, and the host (Geoff I think his name is) is really friendly, and on hand for any information you require. There are no dining facilities, but Geoff is on hand with plenty of recommendations, along with a list of eating places in the information booklet in the rooms.

Beds were comfortable and rooms very quiet, we were not disturbed at all. Exceptional full English breakfast included in the price. Very modern inside the bar downstairs and the guest house as a whole. Bar was reasonably priced with a huge variety of gins. Just looked at staying again in a week or so but sadly full.

We had a large double bed which could be made into a twin which was super comfy. The room was a good size with a decent size bathroom with a shower. There is parking outside the pub and the guesthouse is about 20 minutes drive from Sunderland Stadium of light. The local area is lovely with the coast only a short drive away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Very comfortable and clean. Lovely views as well. Great location, you're very close to the town and it was lovely and quiet.

The White House is absolutely spotless - room was so comfy - nothing to fault at all. Geoff is so down to earth and had a great little chat with him, Met another lovely couple while staying also! The decking is a fab sunny spot for a beer too! Only met Adele briefly at breakfast but she was lovely & all round a great host! Thankyou! Perfect night away re charge 👌

Stayed in many hotel and guest houses, this is way better than the rest. Great stay for visit family and friends. Host was wonderful.
