The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. It was impeccably clean, with great facilities that added to the comfort of my stay. The rooms were quiet and well soundproofed, providing a peaceful environment. Paul, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. Highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Great place to stay in Oxford. Room and bathroom were squeaky clean, beds were comfortable. Our room was right next to reception, but it was very quiet. Breakfast is continental, simple but delicious - if it's not included in your rate, you need to book it in advance. Staff was very helpful and late arrival and self-check-in - easy. Communication with the property was great. It's outside the old town, but fairly close - we walked everywhere. We'd happily stay at Sportsview Guesthouse again.

Super clean everywhere, spacious common area and fully equipped kitchen(which was not mentioned in the ad but was a pleasant surprise). There's also a table in the garden,must be really nice to use it during summer.

Really excellent. You get a detatched seperate area all to your self, including bath room and kitchen. You can also control the heating all by yourself. Milk, tea and coffee was kindly provided, as well as a dedicated parking space :)
