We absolutely loved our stay at Ashdale Guesthouse. Paula & Shaun were very friendly & helpful. The cooked breakfasts were amazing & the rooms were large, clean & very comfortable. Very well located for visiting surrounding villages in this beautiful area. Would definitely recommend & would love to stay here again one day.

Breakfast was very nice, the staff were brilliant. Only thing that bothered us was that we drove past it 2 time before we noticed it was slightly set back from the main road but no real problem really.

We arrived late after the check in time . Our fault completely . The manageress went well beyond her responsibilities to drive to us and let us in . We were so grateful . I could not recommend highly enough . She did not need to come to help us .. but she did , which says everything about her and we were incredibly grateful .. thank you so much for going above and beyond xxx

We were lucky enough to be among the first guests after the take-over by new owners and the refurb of the rooms. What a beautiful room we had - no expense was spared. The decor details are thoughtful and stylish and consider the old character of the inn. The furniture is proper oak and good quality, the bed comfy, the bathroom finished to a high spec with all the creature comforts one likes to have when far from home. The breakfast was yummy and freshly prepared and the hosts were friendly and open to help where they could. And, the hot chocolate is divine. The pub was a lovely place to hang out in so all in all, a very pleasant stay and we'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

Our room was comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was large and had wonderful bath products and large, soft towels. We loved its proximity to Chatsworth House, close enough to walk to on a beautiful day. The staff reserved a table for us by the fire for our dinner.
