I appreciated the kindness of the hosts, who were very welcoming and open to give suggestions to help making my trip in Devon and Cornwall memorable. The room was quiet, as well as the rest of the house located close to any shop, bar or restaurant of the village, but still in a very quiet area. I could chose among a wide variety of food for breakfast, and it was very fresh and good. You feel comfortable like at home, and I would recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting the village.

Great location, absolutly clean, spacious, light, comfortable room with big window and wonderful view. Delicious breakfast, we can recommend fruit salad made from 13 kinds of fruit. Very polite and pleasant hosts.

Gable Lodge was perfect! The rooms were very clean, smelled nice and a good size. The bathroom were also nice and also very clean. There were also some lovely toiletries and overall the rooms were 10/10

The breakfast was excellent. They won an AA eggcup award in 2019. They deserve another. Breakfast is pre ordered the previous evening. Very efficient service. The hosts are very pleasant. There is a comfortable sitting room with an honesty bar. Lovely garden. Good instructions given for finding the property - these need to be followed carefully.

Amazing location, perfect to explore the area from. Great value for money, breakfast was awesome and the whole experience was just brilliant! Friendly and welcoming host, you can feel the heart and soul of the place the entire time you are there. Highly recommend staying here if you are lucky enough to get a booking for the dates you want.

location is superb, easy access to the coast path and an easy drive to Exmoor. Breakfast was great, excellent quality. As a vegetarian who dislikes meat substitute products I often find problems when eating out, but not at Longmead House. The best breakfast I've had when away for years.
