2nd stay with other family members from all over the country. Willow House is perfect for our needs, especially with being close to the other rooms. Very quiet. Facilities are good, continental breakfast in the room is very good, plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc too. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable with sitting area. Staff have been really helpful on both occasions we have stayed. If it had just been myself and husband staying we would have booked the cooked breakfast, looked well worth the extra cost of £10.

They happily moved us to another room because no.3 was quiet noisy with a fan/ cooling unit outside below the window. Moved us to room no.1 but it was very cold. We couldn’t ask to move again because they would think we were just complaining couple. Decided to drive home. Didn’t get to try the food, we did feel it would have been good because it was really busy and smelt amazing. My only fault is things look a bit tired, could do with a paint, sink also kept blocking up. Evening meal was good and great value, basic but good, they could do with something for the flies, there did seem a lot especially at breakfast. Breakfast was ok, but again some food uncovered with a lot of flies. Toast would be better made to order, very dry as under the heat lamp. I would definitely go again as amazing value but definitely would not do breakfast.
