Room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. They kept us informed when they were having work done and the water would be turned off allowing us to properly plan our day. I loved the breakfast in the mornings, were able to select what time we wanted to have it served in the dining area downstairs. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this inn to our friends. Easy to get to city centre from here, bus stop located directly across the street. Petrol station located up the main road about half mile. I stopped by the morning of check in and the staff were able to hold on to my suitcase prior to check in which was a plus. Check in was a breeze and paid for our stay at the bar.

Clean and well appointed. The check in was accomplished by the bartender at the connected Black Horse pub. He was very welcoming and helped us get to our rooms with our bags. The room and en-suite were clean and modern. Security was emphasized. Parking was behind the pub. The price was reasonable.

The innkeeper was absolutely wonderful! She invited us for a pint on our arrival and accepted to keep our bags all day while we wandered about the city. The pub is an adorable local hang-out: I can't believe I never came here as a student!

Location fab, very friendly, comfortable rooms....just a touch warm through the night but wouldn't put me off. Considering above a pub had a good sleep ...wasn't noisy. Allowed to leave our cases which was a great help as train wasn't until afternoon, fab location near everything, great little pub too with a great offer of a card stamp , buy 3 pints get next one free 👍 would defo stay again....five stars 😁 also had everything you needed in the room....the little bowl of sweets on the dresser is a cute touch too ...had an upstairs sun terrace , partly covered with tv showing the rugby 👍 great place to stay ...really enjoyed it.
