This is a lovely family run place. Communication before arrival was excellent. We stayed with two kids just for one night and had dinner at the nearby (200 m) pub Anglesey Arms. The food there was very good and reasonably priced including a great selection of vegetarian options. The breakfast at the Old Store Guest House was great and freshly cooked.

We had a very warm welcome from Ian and Carina, and right from the start everything was perfect, cannot say I’ve ever stayed in a shepherds hut before, but for us it was just beautiful and perfect for the two of us. We arrived late at night and the manager was very welcoming and we were able to have a nightcap before the bar closed. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay again and next time arrive earlier so we can have dinner here too!
