Both of the hosts were super friendly and helpfull. We even disturbed them in their dinner and they stopped eating to help us out. Everything in the Countryman Hotel was super clean, it smelled very fresh and give us a real feel of a cosy home. The room was perfect. It was clean, spacious, quiet and the bed was also firm in a good way. The breakfast was super. We got the full English Breakfast, but with some adjustments. We all agreed not to waste food.

Great location, close to everything, you get a message with nearby attractions something great. Rooms very clean neat fridge and microwave kettles every day fresh snacks for breakfast. This quiet and pleasant hotel is over 800 years old and has its charm with curved floors and wooden ceilings. In the area, very close to Spar shops and a co-op. Children's playground by the river and a pub for parents I heartily recommend

A really great location for exploring Padstow, Polzeath, Newquay and Port Issac. We really enjoyed our stay here - it’s very clean, comfy and great hosts. A lovely little place to sit outside and really nice bathroom. We really loved Ollie the dog too! Lots of shops nearby too and felt we could always knock on if we ran out of anything (fresh towels, toilet roll etc!)
