Brecon isn’t a big place so everywhere in the village is within walking distance. Christine is fantastic. She’ll help you with anything you need. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfasts were fantastic.

This former blacksmiths home was converted into pub in 1860s. It is located in the village of Felinfach, and has picturesque views of the Black Mountains. There is ample free parking on site.

It was like a home away from home. At first we were a bit concerned about the room and bathroom size but these were not an issue as we fitted without a problem. The ‘old pub feel’ was very relaxing, it was nice to come ‘home’ after a busy day sightseeing and relax in the lounge before dinner. Our host (Sue) was amazing and her suggestions for things to do were great - as were her breakfasts! At the end of our 4 day stay she felt like a friend.

We loved everything of this place! Kind people, delicious breakfast, beautiful house and nice and clean room. There is also a fridge with jugs of milk (even not diary if you ask) to bring up to your room. David and his wife (sorry, I do not remember the name) are really great people and gave us a lot of very helpful suggestions to visit the area. For sure I would come back here and suggest this Guest House to everyone.

Pete is very helpful and tries to make the stay enjoyable - he also recommended a great restaurant!!
