The location is amazing as it is so close to the lake and it is easy to travel to other attractions. The on-site parking is a plus especially in a busy tourist location with limited public parking. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

First time in UK and first time in Windermere. My wife and I stayed in 5 different hotels in UK during our 2 weeks in UK. This is our top 1. We spent 1 night here. Breakfast is awesome with really good taste and a variety of choices. Room is nice, host is a very nice person. Everything is so good and we will definitely come back and stay here again if we visit Windermere again in the future.

  A Stellar B&B. Wow. Oakfold House is a premier choice for staying in The Lake District. The hosts are very kind and generous, while constantly working to maintain their very high standard. There is nothing to fault here, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time during our 4 day stay at Oakfold House. The rooms are very nice and well kept, and for the breakfast the hosts absolutely crushed it, every time. Every single meal we had at Oakfold was incredible.
