Exceptionally clean and very quiet which was just what I needed when attending a complex conference. I was worried about a shared bathroom but it was not an issue at all. Really enjoyed fruit refreshments at the entrance, and the host checked on me if I needed anything through my stay which was nice.

Very lovely host. Before my stay I asked for advice on nice restaurants to celebrate my birthday and Doreen has been very responsive and gave me great advice. Once at Burnside I have been very touched to find a birthday card and a bottle of wine waiting for me. Attention to details is very clear and I couldn't recommend more this place.

The chalet was well equipped, plenty of storage space, clean and was the perfect base for our holiday! Would've been just as great for a chill holiday too, but we wanted to go out and see as much as possible this being our first time in Scotland.
