The breakfast was exceptional and the host was extremely good company, knowledgeable and informative. The location was handy for the shops and the railway station (5mins) but a bit further from the beach. The room was very well prepared with everything you need there, including a welcome bottle of drinking water. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking meals or preparing snacks and drinks. The ground floor room came with an extra bed and a lovely sitting out area next to the giant palm. This was in addition to the lovely shared garden.

This property was immaculate, it was all so clean that it looked brand new! A very high quality of all contents, very comfortable bed, superbly equipped, spacious and peaceful - the wonderful electric shutters ensured that we didn’t wake early at all!! Great to have your own outside space with bbq if needed. On site parking right outside the front door. I cannot stress enough how clean this rental was - SPOTLESS! David and Sophie were very friendly and helpful, we hope to stay here again. Great location for exploring the La Rochelle area with wonderful beaches nearby.

This was a super property, probably worth more than a ten. Flo has really thought about how to meet her guests needs in every way, from the power points beside the bed and elsewhere, to additional hooks in the bathroom. A very comfortable bed with linen bed wear. Great shower and bathroom. Easy off street parking, secure property. A bonus was the full shared kitchen and communal living space for her guests. It was warm, dry and exceptionally well appointed. Communication with Flo was easy and timely. Location was good to get to La Rochelle, or local shops and restaurants 10 minutes away. This is the best place we’ve stayed in 5 months of travel this year.

Very friendly, helpful and authentic hosts who make you feel very welcome. Beautiful location / rooms in a historic building that has been renovated and decorated in a very tasteful way. Fantastic garden, perfect for people who like quietness. Very nice breakfast, all prepared with home-made / bio-products. We stayed 4 days and felt really at ease. The area has lots of interesting places to offer, such as la Rochelle, Ile de Ré…
