The property is flawless. Every detail — from the artwork and garden to the flooring to the soap, beds, towels and wines — evidences thoughtfulness and care as well as great taste. The owners somehow manage to combine the service levels of a five star hotel with the intimacy of the best B&B. Aigues-Mortes itself is a quiet and peaceful yet lively place that does not feel heavy or theatrical like other medieval towns with intense histories. it’s a great base from which to explore the warm waters and unspoiled beaches of the region (by car or e-bike) as well as the sites and festivals of Montpellier, Nîmes, Avignon and Arles. The restaurants are simple and simply delicious and reveal themselves from inside of hidden magic patios overflowing with vividly colored vegetation and scents of jasmine, wood fired ovens and the sea.
