We are so happy we chose to stay here. The host, Elena, is gracious and welcoming and her house and rooms beautiful. Comfortable beds, lovely decor, great views and just a short walk into Potes. The breakfast is amazing and Elena made sure to ask what we would like to eat. Best place in town.

This charming, small hotel in Potes is the perfect launch point for days spent hiking in the Picos. Back in Potes, the beautiful and ancient town offered excellent options for daytime or after dinner strolls along the river, in the small medieval streets, and down country lanes leading to farmland on the outskirts of town. It was easy to feel at home in Hosteria Picos de Europa. It has a quiet, old world ambiance and we developed a real appreciation for the wonderful woman at reception who was knowledgeable, helpful and fun to talk to. We looked forward to the breakfasts which featured a variety of hams and cheeses, fruit, and hot options. Off the dining room was a delightful small courtyard with colourful artisan tiles and a fish pond, a great place to enjoy morning coffee. Plenty of free parking is available in the town, making our return after mountain hiking easy.

The location is superb. Right in the heart of the best part of the town, 10 seconds walk to bars, shops et cetera. Nice view from the room over the old Bridge. I was on a motorbike and the parking was great, although it’s not private but seems very safe.

Owners are lovely people, single room with double bed and bathroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. A 2 min walk along good pavement takes into Potes. Parking right outside for motorbikes, would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is joined to the main house but felt very private and not overlooked at all. Parking was very secure, being inside the property boundary. Very quiet at night. Local amenities (groceries, fuel) were all within 1 km. Lots of local walking options. Fuente Dé with cable car access to the higher ground is only a short distance away. Spotlessly clean! Host very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed for 3 nights but we definitely wouldn't mind staying a bit longer. There's a terrace and a huge quiet garden to relax in when you come back from a hike in the Picos. It's also an easy stroll into Potes and therefore we prefer this location over busy Potes centre. It has free parking space and the rooms are clean. They also serve a simple breakfast each morning.
