Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very nice location with swimming pool, and great outside designated area. Friendly hosts. It's private and remote, we liked that, is one the reasons we choose this place, perfect for families with kids, if you like to organize by yourself. You will need a car though for shopping groceries and visit the nearest beaches, maybe 30 min max drive time. The closest big city is Almeria with plenty of things to see and do, shopping malls etc.
We loved it, thank you!
Very clean and comfortable, with everything we could need. Very easy to find and communication with Paula was great. Peaceful and quiet, just a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants
The view was fantastic - we loved having breakfast in the morning sun on the terrace. It was also conveniently located to enjoy quiet, no so touristy village life and get to the best beaches and hikes in Cabo de Gata in under half an hour by car.
A lovely little place in a quiet area quite separate from the town. Nicely laid out and comfortable for 2 people. Facilities were sufficient for self catering and parking was easy in front of the casa.
Celeste is a wonderful host. The location is rural and very quiet, it was so relaxing, the rooms are so clean and showers amazing! Breakfast was great and evening meals too - a real taste of rural Spanish life.
The town of Nijar is definitely worth a visit and wander and 20 minutes in the car to Agua Amarga which is a really nice beach and great for our 2 young children.
Beautiful quiet position, nice pool, room had everything you needed (great shower, ventilation and fan without aircon needed, fridge, kettle etc) Celeste is super helpful host for anything you need. 10-15 mins walk into town with tapas bars (or there is option to eat at property) we managed without a car.
