Saavuin hotelliin ennen varsinaista sisääntuloaikaa. Vanhempi rouva otti minut ystävällisesti vastaan ja sain huoneeni. Kysyessäni ravintolasta hän kertoi, että se on auki 14.00-15.30 - baarin hän kertoi olevan suljettu. Ei muuta kuin syömään, ruoka oli verrattain hyvää ja löytyi vaihtoehtoja kun en voi syödä kaikkea. Sen jälkeen mukaan ostetun juomapullon kanssa ulos istumaan iltapäivä aurinkoon, katselemaan alhaalla aukeavaa näkymää Laredoon ja aikaisin illalla nukkumaan.

The room is clean and very cosy, mine had a tiny balcony with flowers on it which would make me smile every morning. The shower is spacious and cutely decorated. The location is just perfect - few minutes to the beach, few to the mountains, and you are right in the middle of the historical city centre - yet nothing bothers your sleep! Just perfect! In addition to all this, the host is very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and accommodate, while being flexible.

Lovely, friendly host. Spotlessly clean house with beautiful decor. We had a small, but lovely double room with a roof window. Lots of space on the ground floor for eating, a lounge for relaxing, a small kitchen area for preparing simple meals (no fridge), complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The host provided an amazing complimentary breakfast. There is a supermarket a minute's walk from the hotel, it's open until 9pm.

Location - half a mile from Colindres centre, an easy walk. The property itself has only 6 guest rooms, so it is cosy and intimate. The property is clearly very old, it oozes character and charm. The owners were lovely, whilst I don't speak Spanish and they didn't speak English, we were able to confer in broken French!
