Many restaurants and shops close by on Rambla but not in the middle of all the noise and summer crowds. mini fridge and 2 supermarkets close for handy snacks and drinks. Housekeeper made up room daily, nice bathroom. on day of arrival they accommodated an earlier check in for us.
