Exceptional property, this very large (interior) renovated medieval stone house is located in the old quarter and less than 100m from the old town square. Though close to all the ‘action’, it was superbly quiet and serene. The owner/operator is a gracious hostess, ensuring that we were completely comfortable. Our appartment had ample space especially in the living/cooking area, the bathroom is modern and comfortable, the bed as we like (not too soft), the heating was needed and worked well. This was all better than we had expected from the photos. The location is ideal for exploring Terra Alta between Horta de Sant Joan and Valderrobres. The most remarkable benefit was the support given to us by the owners, Enrique and Mari. Without Enrique's suggestions and guidance we would have missed several very interesting tours and experiences.
