The inside of the hotel and the room was very clean. New bathroom and furniture. Only few minutes by foot to the centre of Yuste, with restaurant, cafe, and little groceries.

Hosteria Gante is in the Extremaduran town of Jarandilla la Vera, 40 minutes’ drive from the Sierra de Gredos Nature Reserve. Its café-bar with views of Charles V’s castle.

We had a fabulous stay in Hosteria Gante. Comfortable, clean and centrally located. Paloma is a wonderful host. She prepared us perfectly for the town's festivities. We had no idea before we came how they celebrate December 7th, the eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This 'big broom on fire' festival was a blast, as the people are so welcoming. Paloma also was so helpful in showing us how to navigate the many walking trails. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will return to Gante for sure!
