Miguel is a great host, very responsive and give you local tips and help if needed. Internet works seamless, great for work and support meetings. The area is safe and takes 15 min walk or 1.25$ taxi ride to the center. Water available. Very good illumination due to massive windows. Fans on rooms and living room. Bus stops nearby to go to laguna Azul.

Big rooms, it was pretty clean although I've read about some animals inside the rooms. We didn't find a lot of them. Nice view. Public kitchen. Friendly staff. We went to a great jungle tour with them! I would recommend it especially for couples or a group of friends.

It acts both as a friendly family run hostel with the excellent trips out that can be organised and as a a place with quiet bungalows. Its easy to meet fellow travellers in this relaxed setting. Evening dinners are tasty and the breakfast is good. Its a great base for all outdoor activities.

Immediately as we arrived I felt welcome. He arranged for a swim with guide to a swimming area with waterfall and then a nice lasagna dinner. Toni is a great host. primary rainforest walking tour highly recommended, Toni will show you beauty of the area (we have seen many birds, specially toucans, King fisher).
