We enjoyed our stay with Nelson at Las Palmas. He, and his young manager Victor, was so helpful and friendly. Our cabin was neat, clean and very comfortable and the pool was great. Breakfasts and the dinner we enjoyed at the Finca were delicious. Don’t hesitate to reserve here! You won’t regret it!! Milton, a local taxi driver, was very reliable and will take you to town for $5.

The room at Hostal El Colibrí was simple but very clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful to guide us to nearby places to eat and visit. The location was very quiet, which is something lacking in other places where I've stayed in Puyo. When I return to Puyo again in the future, I will be back at Hostal El Colibrí.
