The place has a perfect location, the view of the mountains, the nature with the comfort of the rooms and delicious food is something that is worth it. I stayed with my family from Switzerland and we were delighted. The staff was very friendly and the birds tour is a must. I recommend this place 100%.

Very well managed. Maria, the manager is an exceptional host. She is very attentive to one's needs and proactive. She organized all my taxi needs and she knows the area very well. The grounds are stunning....topically lush. The pool is lovely and very private. If I ever return to Mindo, I will book the Mindo Real.

We have been traveling for a long time, and this was our favourite accommodation ever. So peaceful, quiet and clean. The staff kept the kitchen and common areas really clean. And they were super helpful. (Beware! There is no international ATM in Mindo, and every business is cash only. If you don't arrive with enough cash, you'll have to take an hour long cab ride to the closest town with an ATM...) The lobby is not closed, some walls are 'missing', so colibris and other birds fly right through it. The ambience is indescribable. You can even buy breakfast, coffee or beer here. The wifi was stable, the lobby was perfect for working. There's 2 things we didn't like, but the positives outweigh them by far. We even extended our stay.

Henry and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very big and clean, the hot shower is great, and the tours on offer are amazing. Great location nearby a few excellent vegetarian restaurants and quiet at night. Excellent spot in mindo, will stay again! Gracias for everything! Henrry went out of his way to help me plan my bus trip to the coast after mindo so that I would not need to return to quito. Thank you!

El Septimo Paraiso is a really unique hotel. Set in lush forest, you are surrounded by wildlife, hummingbirds, toucans and more. Walking into the hotel, you realise you've discovered a forgotten, vintage gem - there's a bar, a reading room, balconies, games room (with card table of course), swimming pools, fountains, trails. It's a little bit jaded in places but that just adds to the charm. The staff couldn't be more welcoming or more helpful. Do come here if you want a breath of fresh air in nature and you're looking to slow down, chill out and watch hummingbirds from your hammock. If you're looking for a 24 hour party - nah stay in the middle of town. Would we stay here again? We'd love to. Really special.
