We stayed here for a night before continuing our drive on the next day. The hotel is very close to the highway, quit convenient. The check-in was easy, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room was big, quiet, and super clean!

We stayed for one night on our trip from Berlin to Austria. We were not aware of the beautiful mountain and forest area that was awaiting us. Heide Machold's place is a nice family guest house with simple but comfortable rooms and VERY good beds. Breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant (which is very well patronised also by local people). In the morning, the host gave us some hints for a short hiking tour of the most amazing rock formations and a terrific view over the entire region. It's a place really worthwhile visiting. And one should bring some more time to explore the region ...
