Breakfast was perfect; bread rolls, boiled eggs, yogurt, ham, and cheese, which you'll eat at a shared table with other hikers/guests. A public car parking place is nearby. There's a great bio restaurant within walking distance.

It's in Hřensko, the Czech size of the Bad Schandau area, and you can get there by taking the S-Bahn train to Schoena (the German side), then cross the river by ferry. Location-wise it's in the middle of all hiking routes and landmarks, so I'd highly suggest people stay in this hostel instead of the core Bad Schandau area. The guy who welcomed us was very nice, recommending us a few restaurants we could go to in the town. Breakfast was classic European style, and the scrambled eggs were so creamy! We got a room with a balcony facing the Elbe River, the beds are comfy, perfect for a short stay! They have plenty of space for parking if you drive.
